Boxworthy is built to keep your cigar history, palate information, photos, and deal evaluations private to your account.
Information we store
We store the account information you provide, age-confirmation status, cigar inventory, purchases, smoking notes and ratings, palate preferences, deal evaluations, uploaded images, and feedback you send us.
AI-assisted identification
When you choose photo identification, the selected image and any hint you enter are sent to our AI provider for that request. Do not upload faces, identification documents, payment information, or other sensitive personal information.
Product diagnostics
We record signed-in page visits, feature usage needed to understand the alpha, and limited error details. Diagnostic events are linked to your account so we can troubleshoot your report. We do not intentionally capture cigar notes, form entries, or passwords in diagnostic events.
Service providers
Boxworthy currently uses Supabase for authentication, database, and private image storage; Vercel for hosting and operational logs; and OpenAI for user-requested photo identification. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services.
Your choices
You can edit or delete many saved records directly in Boxworthy. During the private alpha, use the support form to request a complete data export or account deletion.
Retention and security
Account data is protected with per-user database access policies. No online service can promise absolute security. We retain information while your account is active or as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
